What makes a craft show "indie"?

This is an often debated topic, and we don't have a strict definition. In general the events listed on this site follow these guidelines:

• Feature mostly handmade vendors
• Are produced by the local community
• Do not include retailers such as Mary Kay, Avon, Etc

Inclusion in the directory is at the sole discretion of the Indie Craft Shows staff.

Event Organizers

How can I list my event on your site?

The directory is self-serve, you can list and edit events by registering and then listing a new event.

My event is in your directory, but I didn't submit it. How did it get there?

Sometimes a vendor or other interested party will submit an event to the directory, even if they're not the organizer. If your event is listed in our directory and you would like to edit it, please email kelly@indiecraftshows.com to transfer control of the listing.

Advertising

How can I advertise on your site?

You can use our self-serve advertisements through Project Wonderful. If you'd like to create a dedicated campaign, including placements in our sidebar, please contact ads@indiecraftshows.com for current rates and availability.
